Scholarship applications are accepted from January 1st through February 28th. Each year, ACWA chooses up to two individuals to receive a $1,000 scholarship to a college or technical school. If you know of a worthy student that might benefit from this scholarship, click here for the Youth Scholarship application form.

Eligibility requirements are: 1) Be enrolling as a first time college student or returning undergraduate student. 2) Be pursuing an approved degree at an accredited college, university or trade school. 3) Be enrolling as a full-time student (12 semester hours or the equivalent) in the educational program.

This scholarship is open to anyone with preference to a member of ACWA or the relative of an ACWA member. The winners will be notified by the end of March. If the recipient is a high school senior, this gives him/her time to list the ACWA scholarship for graduation events and publications. Your application and all supporting documentation should be submitted to the Scholarship/Education/Youth Cook Off Committee Chair, Brian Frankum, P O Box 85, Axtell, Texas 76624, or you can email Brian at wishbonewagon@yahoo.com
